Vimeo is a video sharing website.
In late 2021/early 2022 Vimeo started emailing creators in the top 1% of bandwidth usage to tell them that they need to pay thousands of dollars per year to continue using the service.[1][2].
A user created a script to download videos from one's own channel.[3]
Downloading individual videos
Logged in users can easily download individual videos using the 'Download this video' link on every page, although there is a limit of five downloads per day per person, and 100 downloads per video per day. More details are available in the Vimeo FAQ.
