Data[how to use]	IA items song finder

picosong was a platform for sharing audio tracks. All uploaded songs were streamable and downloadable. Comments were hosted on Disqus.

On 20 July 2019, picosong announced that the service would be shutting down sometime after 21 October 2019. It did so on 26 October.

Archival

picosong was archived with qwarc by User:JustAnotherArchivist. The data can be found here. This archive should be virtually complete.

The comments on Disqus have not been archived yet but are still online as of August 2023.

Accessing the data

Due to quirks and bugs in the Wayback Machine, it is not entirely straightforward to browse/access the archives. One major issue is that picosong's song IDs were case-sensitive, but the Wayback Machine collapses case and does not display the actual, correct capitalisation anywhere directly. Further, there is currently (September 2021) a bug involving the download and stream redirects, causing those links to be broken.
