Complete collections of magazines and journals are stuff that is often provided by enthusiasts ready for an easy bulk upload to archive.org. Many (private) ebook/magazines trackers exist but they're not always useful.
It can be useful to archive magazines on the Internet Archive, especially if they're out of commerce and/or their parent company has gone bankrupt. However, active rightsholders tend to quickly take down materials on the Internet Archive: if something is popular, it was probably already uploaded and taken down; double check previous uploads before you upload stuff taken elsewhere.
