I've been wanting to make my own IRC client for awhile now, but I don't currently have the time. Features I need, so I don't forget:

  • Works in web browser (à la TheLounge)
  • Allows pasting images to upload them
  • Collapses inactive channels in a separate section (joins/parts should not count as activity)
  • Low RAM usage
  • Actually decent search
