Tiki was an Indian short video hosting service. It announced it was shutting down on 2023-06-27 at 11:59 pm Indian time (18:29 UTC).[1][2]. The DNS A records for tiki.video were removed and the web servers behind tiki.video started returning 502 some time the next day in the early morning.
We were able to get some metadata but, unfortunately, their API was not able to keep up, rendering us unable to get the majority of it. There was also not enough turnaround time (less than 24 hours) to get any video content before the service shuttered, including any videos via ArchiveBot due to OVH already having been blocklisted by Tiki's video CDN. ArchiveBot's job also did not fully complete due to the above reasons but did manage to save a good handful of metadata.
