Sola.ai was a social media platform. It shut down on the 10th of April 2019 in the afternoon/evening UTC.
On the first of April 2019, sola.ai twitter profile announced they are shutting down the platform at 12:00 GMT 10 April 2019:
Dear Sola user,
We are sad to inform you that Sola journey comes to the end. It will be closed on 12:00 GMT April 10.
Until then, you can export your posts - leave a request in the app and we will send you the link on your account email.
Thank you so much for being with us.
User:JustAnotherArchivist scraped the site's API for profile and post URLs with the goal to start a recursive crawl from the discovered profiles. The relevant API URLs were also archived through ArchiveBot job:c46azrbwwdhvkvv7f8h31cipj.
Resources kept on Sola's CDN (cdn.solacore.net) and Amazon S3 and referenced in those API responses were archived by User:JustAnotherArchivist on the weekend after the shutdown. This is 1.01 TiB in size and available in these items on IA and in the Wayback Machine.
The profile URLs found through the API were partially archived in a series of ArchiveBot jobs: job:dsg11kqux6qt037mhbdbjw3rg job:42ny9nr69onsau7vpg2311rey job:crff6uc8f1lv31vt54uwuflxo job:3adqgk9i4xuwuia0do8xvo5nv job:aepj3vhjitjxogwx21cgfggma job:57awxmei7h5h4as9hrhlbtrez job:chq026qocok37r0ktnwsgnj5b job:6iabgbejeao3usobpyogkft28. While these jobs also included post URLs, they did not actually grab the post pages due to Sola's URL structure and ArchiveBot's parent path handling.
External links appearing in the API data were grabbed through ArchiveBot job:asoelzvll3ub1wbfuqjqlw79s.
Another incomplete recursive grab of Sola starting from the homepage was running as ArchiveBot job:9wne9hkx66f4i0k8ro8z8hltw.
A DPoS project was set up by User:Kiska based on the users discovered in the API crawl but only managed to retrieve about 307 users before the shutdown. The data from this can be found at archiveteam_sola_20190412062205_780e9c17.
