The website of the National Biological Information Infrastructure (NBII) will be shut down on January 15, 2012.

From the website:

On January 15, 2012, the NBII website and any applications residing on the nbii.gov domain will be shut down and no longer available. This includes any applications, websites, or tools that currently exist, hosted either at USGS or a partner site.
