List of lost online videos

What you see here shouldn't be considered an official ArchiveTeam page with official ArchiveTeam content. Both the content and the style may be under construction or debate. This is a list of online videos, mainly YouTube videos, that vanished without being available anywhere else (e.g. removed without re-uploaded by someone or crawled/uploaded by/to Archive.org).

If you consider a YouTube video or channel as endangered and potentially deleted soon, use the YouTube archival tool or reach out to our video archivists, both at the IRC channel #youtubearchive (on hackint).

Warning signs

• If a channel puts videos on “Unlisted” or if even one video is suddenly unavailable, this could turn into an epidemy quickly, and more videos, if not the entire channel, could suddently be gone.
• If a channel becomes controversial and/or faces harsh criticism, such as “TheBaCorner” in 2016 (listed below), it could quickly lose videos.

Routine Removers

Channels that routinely delete old videos include:

• Samsung Mobile^{[IA•Wcite•.today•MemWeb]}
  • Videos public for 1 year, then private.
  • Original (official) Live broadcasts (i.e. Samsung Galaxy UnPacked) unlisted for 1 year after broadcast, then privated.
  • “Replays” of live broadcasts (= version without the pre-broadcast waiting loop screen) also become private after one year.
• Apple^{[IA•Wcite•.today•MemWeb]}
  • All videos private after 1 year.

Notes for page editors:

• Adding videos from every platform, not only YouTube, is encouraged.
• In case any of the videos gets recovered, please add them to List of lost online videos/recovered.
  Some data (e.g. comments) might still be lost after the original video has been recovered.
• The “Date / Time” column can also contain date/time ranges, e.g. “20120206 – 2018”.
• One can also add inaccurate dates to the “Date / Time” column. Please note it as such. Approximate information is more useable than no information at all.
• Feel free to add videos to the list of which you only roughly know the contents but not the textual, searcahable metadata (title, description, uploader, etc.), which makes it incredibly hard to find a video, which leads to doubt whether the video still exists somewhere or not.
• If you are not able to edit the table directly, please add all known information to the dump page.

Channel faced fast growth in late 2015 and early 2016 to over 190000 subscribers due to his videos roasting other YouTube channels, then stagnated and peaked slightly above 200000 in 2018, now slowly decreasing,; 190934 as of ≥20190428193751 UTC. Channel renamed from “TheBaCorner” to “TBC” in late 2016 or early 2017. On his second channel “Marcello”[IA•Wcite•.today•MemWeb], he took down all videos except one. His former VLog channel “BACORNERVLOG”[IA•Wcite•.today•MemWeb] has entirely disowned itself and turned into a meme channel. Third-party website “Bein.Red” has captured some information from it in 2017. Nationality: Serbian, German. Birth date: 19970524

Two wayback captures (20130125203818) (20110915012937) prove that he had 19 videos at some point. The title and content of these videos is not known. Channel statistics: 206 subscribers • 119,299 views.	Filmmaker
AYTvau	Channel	20120204 – 201607~201608.	https://www.youtube.com/user/AYTvau[IA•Wcite•.today•MemWeb] https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCW-lOQgNEvokWEchUeteg0g/[IA•Wcite•.today•MemWeb]	All videos except for one have been privated between July and August 2016. Eventually, that remaining video also got privated, but his channel discussion page was still online, where people wrote comments expressing that they miss his content. The comment counter was at 91 months earlier and dropped to 38 later, meaning that he has deleted channel coments. His subscriber count dropped from around 62K to 50443 (as of 20190430025251 UTC) slowly over time.

Uploader ”ExtremeAnimator“[IA•Wcite•.today•MemWeb] inactive since 2010; most videos remained online but not this one.
Thai - Bangkok - Prison - Security Cam - Live	Video	20191208	https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YM6WBFsUTOo[IA•Wcite•.today•MemWeb]	A so-called "hacked" security footage from cramped Thai prison posted on Youtube [1], but now is privated. [2]
(Some of) Technoblade's old videos	Channel	?	https://www.youtube.com/c/Technoblade[IA•Wcite•.today•MemWeb]	Technoblade privated a very large chunk of his old videos (and that playlist doesn't even have them all!). It's likely that most were archived - in fact, there's a "Technoblade Reuploaded" channel! - but in any case, comments are gone. Additionally, the playlist link wasn't saved in the Wayback Machine until part of the playlist description was "I privated like the first 70 Sky SG ones", meaning it will get pretty hard to find these old videos even if they are archived. Many of the modern deletions are believed to be spurred by his cancellation - he removed a bunch of potentially controversial videos.
