FamilySearch is a free genealogy organization and website run by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It provides access to various genealogy records and allows users to view and contribute to a community built tree. Free access to various paid services is available at FamilySearch Family History Centers.[1]
Partially due to it being a single community built tree, inaccurate, duplicate, and incorrectly formatted information is common.
Users have the ability to add URLs as external sources, however this is subject to link rot.
