DemoDrop was a platform where artists could share demo tracks, with the intent of being noticed by record labels, DJs, producers, etc. It shut down on 2021-10-30, prior to the announced deadline of 2021-11-01[1].
There was an attempt at archiving DemoDrop with ArchiveBot, however extreme rate limits immediately brought this to a halt.
User:JustAnotherArchivist archived all track and most user metadata through the site's API as well as about 83 % of the track streams. The stream download was on track for finishing in time when the site shut down early.
