DSLReports was a website where people shared their experiences with various internet service providers from various countries, with information dating back to the late 1990s and early 2000s. It also served as a place for discussion of miscellaneous technology topics.
There is an ongoing job for DSLReports in ArchiveBot started in February 2017, due to ratelimits, this job will most likely never finish. job:dl2l78dzcm5uao7sjw9mt8u5i
2025 Closure
On 15 January 2025, the dslreports.com forums went offline suddenly, without notice.[1]
Read-Only Period
On 1 February 2025, the home page came back online with a notice "The site will be switching to read-only shortly. While that is being arranged, only the home page is available". Later that day, this notice was updated to read "The full site corpus is only available (in readonly form) for 5 minutes past each hour, for members and guests".
Attempts to view forum threads from the site outside the 5 minute window are presented with the following message from the site owner:
dslreports.com is mostly closed
only the home page is currently available
members and guests may return for the first 5 minutes of any hour and this might change without any notice (DHMU -Justin)"
It is not clear how long this read-only period will last.
