College Confidential is a group of college admissions forums that has existed since 2004, containing a trove of valuable content from teenagers who have later gotten to attend some of the top universities in the United States. It has extremely high name recognition among students who go to the nation's top universities.
It uses a vBulletin-like format. However, it has recently changed its forum search format such that forum pages that go beyond the 250th page are no longer accessible on the forum index (even though they are still searchable through Google and search interface).
