Voice of America (abbreviated as VOA, with the "o" being case-insensitive) is an internationally-broadcasting state media network funded by the US Government. Under the second Trump administration, almost all of VOA's 1,300 journalists, producers and assistants were placed on administrative leave. There is risk that Voice of America will be shut down.

On 2025-03-29 APNews reported[1] a temporary restraining order on actions of U.S. Agency for Global Media, barring it to "terminate, reduce-in-force, place on leave, or furlough" employees and contractor of VoA and other media including Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, Radio Free Asia and Radio Free Afghanistan.
