Not sure where to put this, but it should go somewhere on the article. --Start 14:11, 9 August 2014 (EDT)

custom channels?

Is there a way to retrieve channels that are most probably not going to be archived? I'd prefer the ArchiveTeam solution (WARCs) over 3rd party stream grabbers because of the metadata and stuff. But I don't know if it's possible to override the data from the tracker somehow, and disable the rsync upload? --Darkstar 09:37, 25 August 2014 (EDT)

The scripts don't do anything special. They just feed the URLs into wget with the --warc-file option. If you look carefully, you'll see it saves the video page, the metadata from the API (eg and then the URLs of the FLV files. Chfoo 12:38, 25 August 2014 (EDT)

I've got more than just these, but I'm prioritizing getting casting on the lists over POVs and such, excluding the ones already mentioned from /r/tf2

  • falafel1066
  • Fatmop

A few channels Id like to see archived. They are all informative dota2 streams. In order of importance to me: , ,

Forgot to add, BlackoutGamingTV

Brooky12 17:50, 10 August 2014 (EDT)

Will probably add more as I think of them. These are ones I'd personally like to see archived and they are relatively popular too.

I'd really like this one to be saved, the channel of Rockstar Games (the creator of GTA):

--Arkiver 06:53, 12 August 2014 (EDT)

I'd like to point out that TeamFortressTV and TeamFortressTV2 upload more or less 100% of their content to their YouTube channel. Might be a good idea to keep that off the list unless we can "get away with it"
