$200 is pretty darn steep for a terabyte now (may the technology gods bless moore's law) a more reasonable price might be less than half that... erm.. £50 or so (for a random drive from a common retailer), so $80? --[[User:Dr-spangle|Dr-spangle]] 22:32, 13 February 2011 (UTC) |

Hard drive cost
"data can be bought cheaply in comparison to other formats ($200 could probably buy one terabyte of storage), and so are the recommended format used for backups."
$200 is pretty darn steep for a terabyte now (may the technology gods bless moore's law) a more reasonable price might be less than half that... erm.. £50 or so (for a random drive from a common retailer), so $80? --Dr-spangle 22:32, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
