StoryFire is a video-sharing platform that launched in 2017.
2021 shutdown't
On 24 January 2021, founder Jesse Ridgway announced on Twitter that the platform would shut down just one week later on 1 February due to lack of funding.[1]
On the planned shutdown day, it was announced that StoryFire had secured funding for another year via a YouTube video.[2] Jesse also mentioned that a similar situation had already happened twice before in 2018 and 2019.[3]
