The SOPA blackout was a global protest against the Stop Online Piracy Act, with over a hundred thousand sites partly or fully blacking out their websites. The Archive Team, on a charge led by yipdw, saved grabs of a substantial number of these on the day for history's sake. We even got some press about it.
