Orain is a not-for-profit MediaWiki farm. Wikis hosted on Orain include All the Tropes, a wiki about storytelling design patterns created in July 2012 when TV Tropes ran into censorship difficulties.

On September 16, 2015, a hacker compromised Orain and one or more of its databases, including the All the Tropes database.[1][2] Fortunately, Orain kept back-ups, but all revisions made after June 2015 were lost. All the Tropes moved to allthetropes.miraheze.org after the incident.[3]
Orain had over 425 wikis.[4]
Public backups
WikiTeam made backups for ~380 wikis. The dates range from January 2014 to August 2015.[5] There is also an August 2013 package dump of a few wikis.[6]
