Mobage is a Japanese social network and gaming website. As of 2025, Mobage hosts around 160 games, some of which notably still use Adobe Flash (using Javascript to get them to work). The games themselves are often called "social games".

Archiving

There is currently no method to fully archive a game on Mobage.

The best method is to play a game normally while Fiddler is open. After you finish playing, select all captures and copy just the URL. Fiddler often captures more than just what is needed, so the list will need to be somewhat edited before it can be given to Archivebot.

Accessing

To access Mobage, you need to either use your mobile phone (or emulator; https interception needed to get network traffic) or use a different user agent.

The user agent has to be of either an Android or an iOS. The one that was found to always work is a user agent associated with Google's web crawler: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 6.0.1; Nexus 5X Build/MMB29P) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/W.X.Y.Z Mobile Safari/537.36 (compatible; GoogleOther)

Mobage does not often host the games linked on its website, instead, it uses a proxy URL, which gives away the actual website hosting the game. This can be seen in Fiddler or in the network traffic via devtools. Files such as images, Javascript, and CSS are accessible without using the user agent, and can be saved normally using Archivebot.

Similar Websites

Mobage's competitors. Most of them formerly hosted games in a similar fashion to Mobage but have since pivoted to Android and iOS.
