When a social media account becomes renamed, especially on Instagram, which is not as searchable as Twitter, all URL's leading to that page become invalid and one might not be lesser able to find one's account again.

This page is for keeping track of those renames to avoid them from getting lost.

There are some tools that help keeping track of username changes, mainly by figuring out the user ID from the username and vice versa.
