keptarad.hu was another Hungarian image hosting service. They said that since their start in 2010, only problematic pictures had been deleted. In 2015, however, only images uploaded since August 2014 were accessible on the website, that was a few tens of thousand pictures. Some upgrade happened in August 2014,[1] that may have caused loss of (access to) older content, as in April 2014 it seemed that older content was still available.[2] Despite what was seen, in October 2014 they had stated they had more than 1.5 million pictures stored.[3] A quick Google test, though, found links to the site only since August 2014 – no idea where are the older links to those millions of pictures. The counter on the main page also mentioned only a few tens of thousands of pictures (see the snapshot on the right).
The site got scheduled to be shut down on June 6, 2015, and got cut off on June 13, 2015.
Shutdown
According to the gallery, uploading of new images stopped on 2015-06-02. Probably the shutdown notice appeared at the same time on the main page.
