Like Wikipedia, Wikia content is primarily available under a free content license - usually the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike license. XML dumps of the content of individual wikis is available from the Special:Statistics of any wiki (example for Wookieepedia: Special:Statistics).
Downloads are freely available to anyone who wishes to make backups in addition to those already made by Wikia. More information can be found at Wikia:Database download.
There are two XML dumps per wiki:
- Full history dump (large)
- Last version dump (small)
