Teachers can "register" classes for it, allowing them to have prioritized questions in a video call. Recently they have started using Slido instead of YouTube chat for questions from unregistered people, since YouTube chat was getting flooded by eight-year-olds, but Slido is somehow worse, (probably because you don't need an account, unlike YouTube). Recent shows (as of mid-2021) have been about Grosse-Île Irish Memorial, Toronto Zoo, the Arctic, and more. It seems to be ONLY hosted on YouTube. A hugely educational place stored on YouTube with no known backup? Sounds OK! /s |
