DNAinfo was a local news venue from New York City/Chicago which suddenly shut down on 2017-11-02. Gothamist, DCist, LAist, Chicagoist, SFist, and Shanghaiist were also affected by this shutdown. The websites came back online the next day.

All seven sites were archived through ArchiveBot.

An archival copy is expected to be provided to ArchiveTeam voluntarily by the website administrators.

(Londonist and Torontoist, originally also part of this network, were transferred to other companies in 2009/10 and thus unaffected by the 2017 incident.)
