Current status
Blog.pl is one of the first and largest blog platforms in Poland, established in 2001 as an inependent project and later accuired by the mainstream Web company Onet.pl in 2006. The site is now to be closed on January 31, 2018 (info);
Users have a possibility to export the content and images of their blogs before the closing date.
Subdomains and account exploration
Every blog has its own subdomain in format: blog_name.blog.pl or blog_name.blog.onet.pl. There is a catalogue of all blogs registered in the system which is being crawled and parsed to create an item database.
The platform is based on WordPress.
