Amazon is an American international on-line retailer. Founded in 1994 and launched in 1995, Amazon started off as a book seller but soon diversed, selling DVDs, CDs, MP3 downloads, computer software, video games, electronics, apparel, furniture, food and toys.
Since Amazon stores a vast amount of product data, it offers an insight into culture which will be useful for future historians.
One idea for archiving it is somehow getting product IDs and then using the API, a basic understanding is shown here
