Temporary exclusions?
Looked through the history, and saw that a couple that I'd added have been removed since they were no longer excluded (confirmed they're back myself). Does IA temporarily mark them as excluded for some reason, or do those reflect actual requests by the Web site owners? Is it necessary to try on different days, or from different computers, to tell reliably? Kyan (talk) 03:57, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
- Probably many of them are site owner requests, see Quora#Concerns for example, which originally was a robots.txt block and now a manual exclusion.
- If we give credence to the terms of use, "While we collect publicly available Internet documents, sometimes authors and publishers express a desire for their documents not to be included in the Collections […]. If the author or publisher of some part of the Archive does not want his or her work in our Collections, then we may remove that portion of the Collections without notice." --Bear (talk) 16:58, 25 June 2024 (UTC)
Saving error
Does anyone else run into an HTTP 500 error when trying to save an edit on this page? Bear (talk) 16:50, 25 June 2024 (UTC)
