Meta Ad Library is a database of advertisements that have appeared on Facebook and other Meta products. The library was created to help prevent election interference by requiring clear disclosures on election-related ads, maintaining a public archive of these ads, and enforcing advertiser verification. Removal of Expired Political Ads

On 2025-05-21, Meta announced the first ads archived under this initiative will be removed on 2025-05-25 after reaching the seven-year retention period.[2]
