OPENREC.tv (aka オープンレック, プンレク, オプレク) is a Japanese video streaming website and app. Both free and paid content was made available through it.
Shutdown announcement
It will cease operations on July 1st JST, after which they will be transferred to a new service called Mellow-Fan. The original announcement is https://openrecnext.amebaownd.com/posts/58813825, and the following is a summary.
What will become removed
- Archives of standard streamers
- Captures[1] of standard streamers
- Channel subscriptions for standard streamers
- Archives of official streamers[2] that do not offer a subscription
What will go behind paywalls
- Archives of official streamers that offer a subscription
Regular deletions
Public archives[3] that meet any of the following conditions are being deleted in chronological order, starting with the oldest.[4]
- If the number of views in the last 7 days is less than 10, and the streamer is a standard user
- If the number of views in the last 7 days is less than 10, and the streamer is an official user, and 3 months have passed since the user's last streaming
- If more than 7 days have passed since the stream ended, and the archive is set to private
