Kresy24.pl is a Polish new website funded partially with Polish government grants. It concentrates on the news from territories once governed by Poland (so called 'Kresy', like parts of Ukraine, Belarus or Lithuania) and the situation of Polish minority still inhabiting the areas (including ancestors/relatives search). The website was launched in 2006 and is run by a Polish NGO Fundacja Wolność i Demokracja (Freedom and Democracy Foundation). [1]
Suspension of activities
On 2026-03-30 the editors announced that due to obtaining insufficient funding from Polish Senate, they are unable to continue their work. However, they promised to keep the archival version of the site online. [2]
Archiving
