Daum Cafe (다음 카페) is a South Korean web forum service owned by Kakao Corporation. Due to its long history it holds many valuable contents from 90s~2000s Korean internet, with some contents even predating Daum Cafe itself since some (dialup) BBS posts were copied over to this website. However, it's been in decline for quite some time now, and the site hasn't seen much updates recently.

Overall, this site is like the Korean version of Yahoo! Groups. While some 'cafe's (communities) and posts can be accessed anonymously without an account, many others are only accessible to those with an account meeting a specific criteria set by each cafe's admin. As most of these cafes are inactive and many are set for 'manual approval by admin', it is almost impossible to get the required permission to access all posts in each cafe, even after registering a new account. Also, attachment files are only available for logged-in users even for anonymously accessible posts in most (if not all) cases. Furthermore, there seems to be no public list of all cafes. This could be pretty hard to save.
