Mozilla Addons will remove all legacy (XPI-based) addons from its website.[1]
Mozilla has recently decided to deprecate all XPI-based addons. Firefox 57 is the first version that only supports WebExtensions, the new addon format.
The total number of addons should be approximately 20,000.[2]
